Legal contact

Dalmatius.com is operated from Europe. Privacy questions can be sent to legal@dalmatius.com. Business, tax, and invoicing details are provided where legally required or during checkout/invoicing.

Data we collect

We may collect account details, contact details, company information, user roles, app usage data, website/contact form submissions, billing metadata, subscription status, and technical information such as IP address, browser, device, and logs.

How we use data

We use data to provide the software, manage accounts and subscriptions, respond to requests, process billing, improve product quality, prevent abuse, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

Controller and processor roles

For account, billing, website, support, and product-improvement data, Dalmatius normally acts as controller. For personal data that a customer uploads or configures inside the software for its own business purposes, Dalmatius normally acts as processor and the customer acts as controller. The Data Processing Agreement explains processor terms.

Website Analytics

Dalmatius Website Analytics is designed to provide useful website reporting without cookies or cross-site tracking. Analytics may include page views, referrers, countries, devices, and aggregated traffic patterns. We do not use analytics cookies for Dalmatius Website Analytics.

Cookies and similar technologies

The public website does not need analytics cookies for Dalmatius Website Analytics. The subscription software may use essential cookies or similar storage for login sessions, security, preferences, and billing flows. See the Cookie Policy for more detail.

Billing

Payment, tax, invoice, fraud-prevention, and subscription-management providers may process payment and billing information. Dalmatius does not directly store full payment card details.

Subprocessors and providers

We may use providers for hosting, databases, email delivery, analytics, billing, tax calculation, fraud prevention, security, and support. These providers process data only as needed to provide their functions. Current categories of subprocessors are listed in the Data Processing Agreement.

Legal basis

Where GDPR applies, we process personal data based on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, legal compliance, billing, security, and dispute handling. Account records are generally kept while the account is active. Billing and tax records may be kept for up to 10 years where required by accounting or tax law. Security logs are generally kept for a shorter operational period unless needed for abuse prevention, security investigations, or legal claims. Support tickets and contact messages are generally kept while needed to handle the request and maintain customer history.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, export, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

How to submit a rights request

Send privacy and data-subject requests to legal@dalmatius.com or through the contact form. Include the email address connected to your account and describe the request clearly. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity or authority before acting on the request.

Response timeline

Where GDPR applies, we aim to respond to data-subject requests within 30 days after verifying the request. If a request is complex or numerous, this period may be extended where allowed by law, and we will explain the delay.

Children

Dalmatius is not intended for children and should not be used by anyone below the age required to consent to digital services in their location. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

International processing

Data may be processed in countries other than your own depending on hosting, infrastructure, and service providers used. Where personal data leaves the EEA and GDPR transfer rules apply, we use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism where required.

Complaints

You may contact us first at legal@dalmatius.com so we can try to resolve privacy concerns. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. If relevant, users in Croatia may contact the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be notified through the website, product, email, or another reasonable method. The updated policy applies from the date shown on the page unless a later effective date is stated.
